Goat Island Marine Reserve (Cape Rodney-Okakari Point Marine Reserve) is a 518 hectare marine reserve that was formed in 1975.
Situated off Leigh, approximately 80 kilometres north of downtown Auckland, it is New Zealand's first marine reserve that covers the area between Cape Rodney and Okakari Point.
